There needs to be a differentiation between drones and model aircraft flown in a responsible manner following AMA/CBO guidelines. We are not a threat and have been flying safely for 80 years.

I am a Pilot (aircraft) of 50 years. I have seen far two many drones operated in unsafe manner including plainly stupid operators. There needs to be more restrictions on who can operate drones. However the FAA has put foolish restrictions in place that need to be reviewed.
