This is ridiculous. You need to have money in order to save in an FSA so it does nothing if you already can’t afford healthcare. Also, who can accurately plan what they’ll spend on healthcare in the coming year? Anything left over is lost so who can afford to waste money?

Anyone still has FSA? My family medical insurance moved from HMO to PPO and from FSA to HSA now. And the employer is a billion dollar business. Universal health care is the only answer for the out-of-control in medical expenses.

What about those of us in AZ who cannot benefit from FSA accounts? I have a Medicare Advantage plan, Senator. I can barely afford my copays. Can you help people like me? I’d bet there’s lots more folks like me in AZ than them!

It would also really help patients if PBMs would not force RISKY mail-order pharmacy for patients with chronic conditions.
