She has supported initiatives around childcare, education, small business, health care, and much more. She makes it a point to be accessible to Rhode Islanders, and she is a tenacious champion for their needs.

Lt. Gov. Matos regularly brings together experts, stakeholders, and the public to find solutions to affordable housing at all levels, and her work has contributed to the state investing hundreds of millions more in housing.

Lieutenant Governor Matos has provided indispensable leadership throughout her time in the lieutenant governor’s office. Her work on housing, which has been a primary focus, has helped our state make historic progress.

Governor McKee is attuned to the challenges facing small businesses in Rhode Island, and he has succeeded in addressing many of these challenges, taking action to mitigate the worker shortage, improve workforce training, and reduce taxes.

We worked collaboratively to ensure RIers struggling under the weight of inflation saw immediate, tangible relief by eliminating the car tax, providing child tax credits, expanding low-income property tax breaks, and much more.

He has been an invaluable partner as we worked to make long-term investments that will benefit our state for generations, particularly regarding housing, childcare, & human services.

Dan McKee was thrust into the Governor’s office during a difficult time, amid a pandemic, and he rose to meet the challenge. He has helped make Rhode Island one of the most vaccinated states in the nation.
