We’re saddened to hear the passing of Senator Jose Peralta. He served as our Vice-Chair for Legislative Affairs, and Fiscal Affairs in the mid-1990s. He was also the first Latino President of @QC_News graduating in ’96. He was one of us and created a path for student leadership.

I am​​​​​​​ saddened to hear about the loss of Senator Jose Peralta. He fought for the benefit of his constituents and took the time necessary to get the job done for them. We will remember what he did for our city in the past years. May you Rest in Peace forever Senator.
