I opposed today’s #NetNeutrality CRA because the light-touch regulatory structure that allowed the internet to thrive for over 2 decades has worked fine. This CRA would reinstate more regulations, not less & would turn the purpose of the CRA on its head.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2018/03/05/will-the-fccs-net-neutrality-repeal-grind-the-internet-to-a-halt/?utm_term=.33015f6d31f2 …

Except you have no idea what you're talking about... Net neutrality has been a thing since the internet's inception. It was just ruled to be non-enforceable unless ISPs were classified under Title II. Obama didn't create net neutrality; he preserved it.

Furthermore, you have decided to side with the big cable corporations instead of the 85% of the US population that supports net neutrality. You had your chance, and you failed. I am a Republican, but you will not receive my vote in the next election cycle.

So we should just ignore Netflix v Verizon? Also you say it's two groups of mega corporations fighting... But one of those groups has the majority of Americans as well as small tech businesses on their side...

Yes there are over 4000 ISPs in the US, but on average how many does the average American have access to? 2 or less. That is not a competitive market place Senator

Net Neutrality ensures that a startup can compete with an ISP owned web service. It also prevents paid priotization, throttling and blocking by the Internet gatekeepers as well as protecting our rights to freedom of speech online

Yeah. Just like deregulation made prices for cable go lower. Oh, wait, it didn’t. Believe it or not, there IS a place for regulation. And we’ve learned the hard way. #NetNeutrality
