As we consider this #Omnibus, remember:
o Fiscal Year ended Sept. 30, 2017, nearly 6 months ago!
o We’ve passed 5 Continuing Resolutions
o National debt is $21 trillion
o 2018 deficit could top $1 trillion
o This bill is $1.3 trillion & 2,300 pages
This is no way to govern...

Let me get this straight - you supported tax cuts for the wealthy that blew up the budget and that you hadn’t read, but now you suddenly have issues with doing the exact same thing with a spending bill. Interesting logic you have there.

-
It kinda seems like if it’s a bill that primarily benefits the wealthy and corporations, you’re an automatic yes, but if it has provisions that are primarily for everyone else, you’re opposed. Did I get that correct?

Bush and the GOP blew up the economy with "trickle down" economics. Bush blew up Iraq with his new-cons
-
Now we have "trickle down" again and Bolton as National Security Advisor. Trump is not stable and Bolton is unhinged. What could possibly go wrong.

So govern, isn't the reason you all are there?!

-
Lankford was elected to oppose Obama. He has no real experience in governing, but is excellent at obstructing. Doesn’t know how to take responsibility when his party controls congress and whitehouse.

DACA? This is a Republican Bill and there is no addressing of DACA yet. You tried to blame the Dems, but this is your Congress and your bill. And you could have done something in June of last year if not before.

Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Motion to Concur in the House Amendment to the Senate Amendment to H.R. 1625- Yea (R) Lankford, James OK- H.R.1625 Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018- Nay (R) Lankford, James OK. As usual Lankford tries to pick both sides. wishy-washy

Talks out of both sides of his mouth, a real slick politician, a crook, a liar, a hypocrite.

Not supporting the bill was the right thing to do. Not sure why others on here are to blind to see it. As far as the tax cuts. Thank you my wallet and I appreciate you. I am by no means a rich man but have a little more in my pocket because of it.

Seems like the same way the tax scam was handle and you all had no problem with that--so what in this bill isn't going to benefit you or your donors? or is this theatrics as usual? either way...
