I just learned that American scientist Dr. Serkan Golge has been convicted in #Turkey w/o credible evidence. This is absolutely unacceptable. It’s time for the U.S. to sanction Turkish officials responsible for the wrongful imprisonment of American citizens.

U.S. companies should be wary of doing business in #Turkey for fear of their employees facing similar risks. Since 2016, Turkey has arrested a number of U.S. citizens, including Dr. #AndrewBrunson, w/o charge.

And he’s not too fond of sanctions as evidenced by the poke in the eye he gave congress on the Russian sanctions.

How about applying the same standard for all those that are illegally renditioned from abroad in violation of treaties and interntional law to stand trial in the US.

So, no corresponding links re: citizens arrested there without charges, just accusations based on an ongoing, sloppy, and highly suspect investigation? BTW, I’m skeptical of all media outlets at this point.

WHERE ARE THE RUSSIAN SANCTIONS?! We are actively under attack by Russia while congress looks the other way. Sure, pass sanctions for Turkey, but Trump loves them almost as much as he does Russia - so those will go nowhere.

So did Obama. And you were silent. Hillary sold them uranium. Took tons of money from Russia for her foundation. They obviously can't be too bad. If Russia is so bad, I am sure Hillary would give that money back!

I can look right now & see how my neighbor is registered. Everything is online. I can see how everyone on my street is registered. I can see how everyone on any street in America is registered. It's up to us to secure our databases, people will always try to steal info.
