Our #TaxReform bill increases standard deduction, doubles child tax credit, preserves adoption tax credit & expands charitable deduction. With this bill, the typical family of 4 earning the median family income of $73,000 will receive a tax cut of $2,059. http://goo.gl/V4xJhF

And why is the corporate tax cut permanent, while the individual one expires right after your terms are up? (Not a coincidence.) Can you still promise no cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, & Social Security? Has the newest version even been CBO scored???

Do us a favor and drop the illusory math. You didn't pass this bill for the average American, or you wouldn't have done it at midnight. I hoped you were better.

What we get is tiny and temporary, @SenatorLankford, while what the rich get is massive and permanent. This bill stinks because it is *unfair* and Oklahomans hate unfair taxes even more than they hate taxes in general.

Thank your Senator. Much appreciated relief. Money talks and when the American public begins to see more money in their pay checks and job growth, those pushing back will become fewer and fewer. I hope they remember to apologize to you and your colleagues.

Pay attention to the economy, jobs and stock markets Sara. If the growth continues, seize the opportunity for yourself or support your fellow Americans who do. Look at your taxes next year compared to this year. Let me know if you see an increase or decrease.

I will. I’m just curious why you’re OK with middle class Americans getting a tax break of just a few hindered while the richest get one of hundreds of thousands? Or why it’s ok for our poorest to have to pay more?

This is all in how its framed Sara. Taxes are based on percentages. % of less = less. % of more = more. The poorest do not pay more, they pay significantly less. It's not OK for the poorest to pay more and they don't. It is OK for us all to pay our part.

How does opening artic drilling help oil in Oklahoma? Sounds like we are going to be paying more than one way so the rest of the country to get a tax cut.
