Let me add - it is up to survivors of sexual assault alone to decide whether to come forward. It is completely unacceptable to attack anyone who alleges she has been assaulted.

If the #MeToo movement has taught us anything, it is that we must respect and listen to survivors of sexual assault, regardless of the age of those involved or when the alleged attack took place.

we are suppose to believe an anonymous letter from an anonymous source that does not want to be put in the spot light from a letter that has had for two months or more? yeah ok...if this was real the letter would have been out as soon as the "letter" was received

What is especially scary is we have an elected US Senator publicly calling someone a rapist where there has been no trial & no charges. In the US, you're innocent until proven guilty. Yet here is an elected US Senator publicly calling an innocent man a rapist. That's scary!

We all have the right to face our accuser. It can't be a nameless, faceless person. Why should they be believed. How can we even believe it's real and not pure fiction? This is pretty lame and sickening to use the #metoo movement this way. It only hurts women. Shame on you!
