There have been 3 widely reported & serious breaches at the NSA that have threatened our national security. Each one involved government contractors w/ security clearances who have access to highly sensitive gov’t info. (1/3)pic.twitter.com/SfWftLuVEw

Under the current security clearance system, however, contractors’ clearances are not subject to a continuous evaluation. B/c there isn’t an automated, constant review process, things get missed, breaches occur, & reviews aren’t always triggered when they should be. (2/3)

At an Intel hearing this morning, I pressed industry leaders about their responsibility to continuously evaluate their employees & report any changes in behavior that should trigger a review of their security clearance. (3/3)

Nope! This is another Mitch-approved® photo op to give the appearance of “tough-on-security” Susan Collins. The whole trump-traitor gang can’t be be discussed because she puts party over country every time.
