Until the 'no fly' list is more transparent it can't be reasonably used as the basis of any other restriction. A secret government list with no known qualifiers for a person being added to said list is purely against the best interests of the people you're supposed to serve.

Senator Ted Kennedy was on that list once. But he did kill a person so I guess it was fair
better have due process system because that list is very flawed.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@SenatorBaldwin@Sen_JoeManchin@SenatorCollins Relying on a broken racist watchlist system would further entrench it. You’re 3 Senators I have much respect for & whose states I frequent. Don’t stoop to this.https://www.aclu.org/blog/national-security/discriminatory-profiling/until-no-fly-list-fixed-it-shouldnt-be-used-restrict …Thanks. Trust THAT system?? My relative, a Major in the US Army with Top Secret Security Clearance was detained because he was accidentally put on a No Fly list. He's not alone. And it takes next to nothing to get on that list for shit sake. You're worse than the High Schoolers.

Sen. Ted Kennedy was famously on it.

So now we are denying rights without due process? Yeah that’s totally acceptable. Are y’all taking the comedy show on the road?

Is there due process involved or just a list? Seems to removing rights without a court hearing is a problem.

Besides being completely unconstitutional, how would this have stopped any of the school shootings? Are we just doing this for publicity or is this truly a solution that will make a difference?

Republican senator supports use of secret government list to deny citizens Constitutional rights without due process.

Since when has Collins been a Republican senator? Consistently votes against Republicans in Congess. She needs to switch.

Ok, that's one issue, what about banning assault rifles? Background checks for all sales? Ban on bump stocks? Ban of large capacity magazines? None which are covered under the 2nd Amendment. We've a long way to go.
-
Sir you can't tweet. The internet wasn't covered under the 1st Amendment. Rebuttal by postal rider please.

Sorry, not following you, maybe explain a little?

So, to summarize, due process rights are bad. Gotcha.
