Today’s vote was a missed opportunity. Our bipartisan immigration plan, the product of countless hours of negotiations in the Common Sense Coalition, would’ve strengthened border security & protected children brought to this country illegally through no fault of their own. Our amendment had broad, bipartisan backing—as demonstrated by the 54 Senators from both parties who voted in favor—& received more support than any other immigration proposal. Unfortunately, it failed to receive the 60 votes necessary to advance. Do you have any realization that you are part of the undoing of our country? That this administration and the GOP in Congress are undermining our democracy, encouraging white supremacy, creating division and violence among our citizens, and hallowing out our govt institutions?

I don't think this is on her. You should be tweeting to @SpeakerRyan & @SenateMajLdr and all the others who would not vote for it. She needed 60 votes and could only get 54. That's on the rest of the @GOP They are the undoing. They are the party of @realDonaldTrump and that sucks

I agree that Ryan and McConnell are more to blame, but they r hopelessly corrupt. She pretends to be reasonable but tweets inanities and pleasantries while the country goes to shit. We need strong Republican voices to save us.

This is on you. Mitch McConnell is YOUR leader. You enable him. You enable Trump. You are just as much of the problem as they are.

Susan the only vote that should pass, is, pathway for 1.8 illegal immigrants to citizenship, build the wall, get rid of chain migration and the lottery system, this is more than fair. President Trump compromised and gave more than the Democrats wanted but it's never enough.

Also Susan we will just go through this again fifteen years from now, I don't understand what you want as a republican. I am a women republican and give total support to our President. I will vote for him again.

Susan I am beginning to think you are weak and not willing to stand up for the republican voters, it's easier to JUST GIVE IN, I thought you were stronger than that. My mistake.

No wall, no end to chain migration, no of of visa lottery, blanket amnesty. Your bill was a disaster for the USA. @potus has a great plan out there. Support that.

Two days ago the leaders of our intelligence agencies told us Russia interfered in our 2016 and is already back for 2018. Trump doesn’t acknowledge it, nor does he impose sanctions. Does this not concern the Republican Party? A foreign enemy is disrupting our democracy? HELLO!

No such thing as foreign anymore. The corporations and oligarchs that govern this country have no national loyalties.
