(1/2) Patty Bernard of Falmouth testified at a @SenateAging hearing I chaired about the rising cost of rheumatoid arthritis drugs. Her out-of-pocket cost increased from $10/month to $3,800/month when she moved to Medicare.pic.twitter.com/mjBYI40sS9

(2/2) Patty’s testimony will help us better understand what can be done to moderate the price of prescription drugs without discouraging innovation that helps us live healthier lives. I'll continue to advocate for our seniors. Read more: https://www.collins.senate.gov/newsroom/mainer-rheumatoid-arthritis-testifies-senate-aging-committee-hearing …

Right. As if you wouldn’t sell Patty up the river to please Paul Ryan, just like you did the rest of us with the #TaxScam. You have no intention of taking on big pharma, they own your party. You should resign, you’re a terrible person.

Senator, a a state leader and especially as a respected and competent woman, please speak up about The Whitehouse and your fellow Senator Orin Hatch, who were in a big hurry to defend and protect a domestic abuser. Why didn't anyone question his security status? I am appalled.

Susan it would be cheaper in the long run if our government were to produce and supply generic drugs to the American public. The amount of money our government pays private companies is astronomical and a rip off. It would be a win for everyone.

I have RA and have been fortunate that older traditional medications- decades old-work for me. Still the generic price is 10x higher on Medicare.
