The Senate bill will include my amendment to reduce the threshold for deducting medical expenses, which helps people with high medical costs, particularly seniors & people with chronic conditions. 8.8 million Americans use this deduction, half with incomes of $50,000 or less.

Respectfully, Senator Collins, they are giving you good amendments to pass a bad bill. The bill has been widely ruled a misleading disaster by independent expert review. Please use your power for good today. Millions of us encourage you to consider this:https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/29/business/republican-tax-cut.html?_r=0 …

Charles, When will insurers start exiting the marketplace? Do they have an out now, that the mandate will be repealed? Can they cancel policies immediately?

However, the carriers already “resolved” the CSR issue by either a) bailing already or b) jacking up rates to cover losses…

…so my guess is no one would bail *during 2018*. it’s *2019* when they’d decide whether to bail altogether or jack up rates.
