The Senate tax bill will include my SALT amendment to allow taxpayers to deduct up to $10,000 for state and local property taxes.

Nope, not good enough Senator. There’s no excuse or amendment robust enough to warrant a yes vote for this terrible, horrible tax scam. We won’t forget.

I’m with you, Linda. The bill is excessively slanted to the 1-2%! The GOP🐘do not care about the poor, disabled, veterans, children, seniors, the sick, etc. They only care about the Mercers & the Kochs, their wealthy donors. 🤡🇷🇺🏌️‍♂️💰🇷🇺🐘💸🇷🇺

Yep, and the shame of it all is that their megadonors won’t get them elected again anyway. This tax scam seals their fate with the public who is against it.

No matter how they try to make you believe they’re the good guys, anyone associated with the GOP is far from trustworthy at this point. This comes from someone who used to occasionally vote for them. Never again.

Oh goody. But the rest of the bill sucks. Your constituents said vote no and you betrayed then. This bill also makes healthcare unaffordable and this deduction will be useless when people are losing their homes because of medical expenses. Your political career is over.

This is weak as hell Sen. Collins. You voted against the ACA repeal why? This bill is a redistribution of wealth to the wealthy contains a provision that effectively kills the ACA and leave millions uninsured. While that is happening poor/middle income families pay higher taxes.

I forgot to mention. You know that Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are going to be implicated in all this, don't you? It's going to be a mess, as your president says. To pass this tax bill, at this point, without being able to read it, as if this were an emergency, is a mistake.

Sometimes they are the same thing. You can't bribe a Senator with a $ 100 donation, but they will lick your boots for 100 k.
