Your funding does nothing when insurance providers won’t cover the treatment. I have a family member that struggles with opioid addiction, has insurance, and is paying $400-$600/mo to see a doctor - that does not include any counseling that he desperately needs.

I had a family member that was paying 400 a month at a treatment center 2010 +2012 without insurance until he lost his job so he was dropped from treatment. He's in treatment now since 2019
