If the wait time for ALS disability benefits upsets you, wait until you hear about the wait times veterans face
ALS patients have no time to waste.
Due to how part of the ALS SSDI Act was interpreted, some with ALS still had to wait 5 months for disability benefits.
My bill to fix this with @SenTomCotton, @SenWhitehouse, and @ChrisCoons was signed into law today.
