Well if you are so worried about debt was is your stance of closing loop holes? Why should people be able to write off purchases of yacht's, meg mansions and hedge fund managers pay a lower tax rate. That isn't investment income it's income from their work.

Let's get rid of all the loop holes in the tax system. The MITD (mortgage interest tax deduction) only benefits wealthy. Unless you pay over the standard deduction you don't write that off. Only high income earners really utilize that deduction.

I mean it probably wouldn't hurt to tax every dollar made over a cap of lets say $3 million dollars a year, be taxed at 75%. You don't want to hear that though.
