Innocent suspects? Shooting someone who violently attacks an officer, who goes for a knife/gun, etc. is justifiable. And it certainly doesn’t meet the definition of murder.

I don’t disagree with the tougher penalties for people who are police officers, but your silence when police officers kill unarmed people is deafening and ruins your message

These were criminals who violently resisted arrest, attacked police officers, most of whom were armed (not unarmed), and there were justifiable reasons for the actions taken. The Senator was right not to take sides against the cops.
