Publishing medical costs does not help much in the real world. A $1200 MRI is not affordable for most people whether published or not. Health insurance is broken. It needs life support, not bandaids.

Eliminate all “for profit” healthcare. It was how things were done in the US prior to Nixon rewarding a campaign donor by the name of Kaiser (source of Kaiser Permanente). That might have some added benefits- like getting some lobbying $ out of politics and lower costs w no lobby
