The Whistleblower is protected, and should be. The Bidens have no relevance to this case other than being the target of the president. It is the president's actions that are on trial here, not theirs. Please understand your job. It's what you were elected to do!

Although when it comes to the trial Trump has every right to face his accuser which in this case would be the whistleblower. Even if that person is protected. The process in the House is similar to the grand jury so he was allowed protection.
