Here's the rub, Senator. While all parties in healthcare are for profit, it's not going to matter what their "secret negotiated rates" are. EVERYONE - except the actual patient - makes $$$ on healthcare in this country. Healthcare should NOT be a for-profit industry.

So if you are having a heart attack, you are supposed to call around area hospitals to see if they are in your network and to compare prices? Health care is not like buying a car or a TV. It just isn’t.

Our health care industry is a shining example of the capitalist system you are so fond of touting. It is replete with massive profits, excessive executive compensation, corruption and price gouging. I have seen nothing from you, Trump or the GOP that would fix it.
