Really? There is no emergency, and there is no need for a wall. There is no discussion to have. The President has opened a can of worms declaring this emergency, and it will come back to bite the Republicans when a Democrat is in office. Bad precedence is being set here!

Then you are mistaken. Presidents shouldn't be able to issue emergency orders in the first place, yet another duty Congress gave up. When climate change, gun control, etc get addresses via emergency declaration, I'm sure you'll show the same support.

Senator please appreciate that there is no relevance to “in this instance”. If successful, it will give the Executive branch legislative powers for which two thirds of each house will be required to limit. The Congress should be limiting this power, not expanding it.
