Some Republicans (yourself excluded, of course) actually voted in favor of the Democratic bill that didn’t pass. Why? Because they want to reopen the government. You, however, continue to stand with Trump over a wall most Americans don’t want. Don’t call yourself productive.

Why is a compromise necessary? What is the competing ideological difference between a thing everybody wants (reopening the govt) and a thing only some people want (a border wall)? This isn't Higher Taxes vs. Lower Taxes argument, you all want the same thing! Vote like it!
