The Senate passed a CR 100-0 on Dec. 19th w/o border wall funding b/c Trump said he would sign it. You and @SenToddYoung voted against that very same bill today that also provided $14 billion in disaster relief. Holding the country hostage for a wall isn't leadership.

Explain why the Democratic proposal got more votes than the Republican one. If you cannot explain that one, explain why GOP Republican approved the same proposal in December but voted against the same proposal today.

How are the Dems blocking when they offered an alternative? From what I saw, and yes sir I did watch the senate vote on Cspan2, you did not offer anything? You sat there and did nothing. You are not working for the 800,000 struggling you continuing the crisis. Shame on you!!

They want to secure the border, stop spewing everything you hear from Trump. They don’t want a border wall, that doesn’t equate to “they don’t want border security “.

I'm curious what you will be saying when the Senate GOP is forced to save itself and reopen the government by overriding Trump's veto. You know you guys are going to fold, just like with the many previous shutdowns your party initiated. It's only a matter of time.

All of your constituents want the government reopened. Not sure why you voted against it? It is sad that government employees are waiting in food lines for their meals and have now missed 5 weeks of pay. The majority of Americans don’t want a wall.
