A GOP spending bill passed in the Senate before the shutdown began, but now @senatemajldr is refusing to re-hear the same bill because it didn’t include Trump’s wall. That’s not on the Dems. America deserves a functioning government more than you or Trump deserve a “victory.”

Do your job, Senator. Open the government. Negotiate. Stop holding 800,000 federal workers hostage. The @GOP failed to act on this “national emergency” for two years. Do. Your. Job.

Tell McConnell to bring it to a vote. Open the government. Stop withholding pay from 800K people. DO YOUR JOB.

Instead of partisan blaming, do your job: govern. Vote for the House’s clean CR and reopen the federal government. Less tweeting more action. It would be great if you could focus on what you can personally do to get your constituents back to work.

The House has passed 9 CRs to open the gov't since Pelosi became Speaker including a single appropriations bill that is identical in language & funding to the CR the Senate passed 100-0 in December w/ no border wall funding. This is all on McTurtle & Trump. Vote for a clean CR.
