#NEW: has signed S4844B, my bill to expand accommodations for nursing employees in the workplace. All employers will now be required to provide employees access to private lactation rooms. No one should have to choose between nursing their child and their job.

The is set to vote on a rezoning proposal on Bruckner Boulevard in Throggs Neck. This proposal would make way for an affordable housing project. Last Thursday, the Land Use Committee voted in favor of the proposal. Read my statement on the proposal👇

Orchard Beach’s parking lot is in a high risk flood zone— posing danger to the migrants staying there. It is irresponsible, especially during Atlantic hurricane season, to risk whether the tent platforms can withstand rain puddling or water level surges.
