So who would you appoint to the commission? Who would you partner with to have more logical approaches to keeping law abiding citizens safe? Watching the 12/16 left me speechless and sick. These ppl were appointed.

We have the highest rated of incarcerated folks in the world. It's not something to be proud of and it sure as hell isn't something we should strive for. We have the same systems in place, more funding so how will this actually help? Punish, punish,punish are way to glory eh?

I suggest that some communities start to take responsibility for themselves and work on cleaning up the culture of crime and violence that they have allowed to exist. Until then nothing will change and people will have to continue to be imprisoned when they commit heinous crimes.
