We need to do everything we can to safely and quickly evacuate U.S. citizens and our Afghan allies, who have sacrificed everything to advance our mission and protect our troops. For twenty years, they did not abandon us. Now, we cannot abandon them.

I am thinking of our men and women who served in Afghanistan today and over the last twenty years. The best way to honor them is to evacuate as many of our Afghan allies as we can, including those who are not at the airport in Kabul.

Since invading Afghanistan in 2001, The U.S tax payers have spent $2.26 trillion on the war, lost roughly 6500 troops,DOD civilians and contractors, killed roughly 100k people half opposition fighters, half civilians. All for a war that did not have a decisive victory or defeat..

I'm so confused. I thought we were there helping the Afghanistan people fight the Taliban. It's to be expected that they should help us, help them. The people who sacrificed are the Americans who were over there working to help them solve their problems.
