He should be alive today to live out his passions and dreams.

Adam, Daunte, George, and countless other Brown and Black Americans killed by police deserve justice.
Their families deserve change.
They, like all Americans, want to see an end to senseless police violence.

Boy, I sure hope that if I'm ever killed while shooting at cars at 2am with gang members, a US Senator will declare my death "unjust", blame "senseless police violence" for my terrible choices, and praise my "love of animals and riding my bike".

He was a troubled young boy who needed help. The life of kids lured into these gangs usually end tragically. No easy answers or prevention. 😢

So sad. Why was he out a 2:30 in the morning? How did the officer know he was just a kid. Parents should take some responsibility.

So sad. Parents should take some responsibility. My child would not be in the streets so late.

Can we get a Emergency Session of Congress with special rules?
The gun violence epidemic justifies an emergency session, called by the Majority Leader & VP, with rules that require up/down votes on bills that have passed committee directly related to gun safety.

Have you ever walked in that #Chicago neighborhood? Why was a 13 year old out in the middle of the night w/ a gun? Your tweet is out of line, sir.
