As the harmful impact of this pandemic on our economy continues, our food banks are strained to a breaking point as families wait in line for hours on end just to be able to eat.

It would also permanently modernize #SNAP by ensuring all states use broad-based categorical eligibility so that households that qualify for other low-income assistance programs don't have to fill out burdensome paperwork to get the assistance they need.
