Wisconsin’s dairy farmers are facing a challenging year. I am proud that we acted swiftly by securing major investments and the necessary resources to support our dairy industry, including more than $1 billion in dairy safety net tools.
Washington needs to take more steps to provide support for farmers targeted by retaliatory tariffs, address unfair dairy pricing schemes and ensure Wisconsin farmers have the tools they need to be successful.
Farmers need solid roads and bridges to transport their crops and products from the farm to consumers and businesses. It’s time to reinvest in rebuilding our infrastructure and enhancing transportation throughout #WI.
