Labor ought to negotiate with CEOs on the basis of a share of the company´s income. Comparing CEO pay to worker pay is a blind alley. Focus on labor's percentage share of the income...and you have a solid negotiating base.

If the CEO was making 8, 10 15 times the median income I don't think anyone would blink, but thousands!? Really? How do you justify that.

The rationale usually used is that the CEO is taking on more risk. But I don't see how that's the case because they always have golden parachutes, still get bonuses even after they tank the company, etc.
