Have to start somewhere. Companies love to fire ppl at this age bracket leaving them with no income and no insurance.

Or just not hire us at all. my career got derailed about 5 years ago (breast cx). Now 25+ yrs of exp w @ min 14 yrs to go, isn't desirable.
