Has the Democratic Party investigated the finances of Postsecondary institutions? If Universities and Colleges have large endowments or cumulative preservation of capital, shouldn’t they reduce the tuition/fees to alleviate the high cost of education?

Does this mean you will regulate what Big College can charge or you are going to have government tax payers bail these students who got worthless college degrees and now cant pay their loans back. sounds like a ponzi scheme on the back of tax payers to me.

Can you also work on reigning in costs and spending at colleges and universities? Not just tuition, but their policies on textbooks, fees, room and board, new buildings and land grabs.

Thank you Tammy! There is no way that public colleges can bring down the cost of college with tuition freezes alone, and budget cuts in Wisconsin have really hurt us.
