Other than purely cosmetic, when is dental NOT necessary? It's outrageous we have allowed this go on this long. Eye, ears & teeth are parts of our bodies & should be covered. What we should not have is insurance companies making our health decisions.
Insurance companies should not be allowed to deny coverage for medically-necessary dental procedures. Kids like Aidan should get the comprehensive health treatments and coverage they need at a price they can afford. My bipartisan legislation will make that a reality.pic.twitter.com/3v3lwszZsS

Dental insurance companies do not make your decisions. They simply decide how much they pay per procedure accord to the plan you or your insurance provider pays for.
