    Sen. Tammy Baldwin Retweeted WJRO

Thanks @SecPompeo for highlighting this issue & urging Poland to pass restitution legislation for those who lost property during the Holocaust era. We have more work to do and I will keep working to ensure justice for Holocaust victims, their families and heirs.https://twitter.com/WJRORestitution/status/1095970756347998208 …

    Sen. Tammy Baldwin added,

Proszę poszukać w tych gruzach żydowskie majątki. W takim stanie Niemcy zostawili Warszawę w 1945.

This is what was left of Warsaw after it was destroyed by Germans in 1944. Tell me which of the house was yours. After the war, Warsaw was rebuiled by Polish people with no help from other countries and certainly no reparations from Germany. Photo: Warsaw 1945. Jewish quarter.pic.twitter.com/GgqBwboh9G

No new law is needed in Poland. True heirs can receive property that survives the war, in accordance with existing law. The fraudsters and organized economic and financial criminals can not appropriate property.

Madame Baldwin it is scary to see that even legislator does not know the law of 1960 in which USA took on claims of its citizens Plus who will pay Poles for what we have lost If you seek compensation do turn to Germany ....they are to blame for Holocaust and ww2 as a whole

And then tell them that is was Germany that invaded Poland (along with the USSR) in 1939, killed a quarter of Polish citizens and destroyed about a half of Polish citizens' property. Learn history, Madame.
