No, Senator, like this: “This President is under criminal investigation for his involvement with a foreign adversary’s attack on our elections and obstruction of justice. He may not nominate a Supreme Court Justice until he is cleared of these charges."

Except you know we’re going to get one. So what do you plan to do about it?

My suggestion? ... Step #1. Make Mitch McConnell stick to his own rule: no appointment until after the midterm election. #2. So not allow a president under fed investigation to appoint anyone.

The president under investigation for obstruction of Justice is in no position to nominate a Justice. GOP; doormats to Trump corruption, bribes, human rights abuses, alienating allies, fawning over murderous dictators, erroding our rights and stealing our $. No. NO WAY

I support you Senator, but this milquetoast response is inadequate. I expect you to act up & make good trouble. Why fear that such behavior will hurt your election chances? Repubs and "moderates" are not going to vote for you anyway...build your real base and fight for US!
