Corporate special interests already have too much power in Washington and today #SCOTUS gave them more to make a rigged system worse for working families and a shrinking middle class. We now need a legislative fix for workers that builds our middle class. #Janus

So you think if a member of a middle-class family chooses not to join a union they should have to pay dues when they would rather keep that money in their own pockets two feed their families

Yes!! That same individual will benefit from union negotiators—so why not!! This attack on unions is only going to benefit employers — not the individual member opting out of paying dues.

If they wanted that benefit they would have actually joined the union. And if the union really cared about the employees then they would stop using union dues for political purposes and instead put that money in their pension, welfare and annuity funds.

When corporate-backed republican spin works, billionaires benefit, and the middle class loses. Money IS needed to fight the spin. Middle class workers don't have millions to donate to politicians to fight on their behalf, but corporate billionaires do.

There is nothing more terrifying to a politician than the idea that they can no longer hold their base hostage.

You are out of touch. This allows employees not to pay dues to unions that use the $$ to support candidates they don't believe in. That was exactly my problem. Thank you SCOTUS

This is why elections matter. There are real long lasting consequences. Judges appointed by conservative politicians affect real people for years. Real People, not fake corporations, need Tammy.

Talk about why unions are important, why #Janus is bad for all of us. This is a teachable moment. If your message is just "the rich have too much power/support the middle class" ppl will just say "there are other ways to do that w/o forcing people to join unions."
