    I just voted to pass a bipartisan emergency security funding package. This will reimburse the National Guard for defending our Capitol in the wake of January 6th and will help support Afghan partners who worked with American troops on counterterrorism efforts.

    I applaud Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka for speaking their truth. Sometimes even though we know we're not at our best, we force ourselves to do things we committed to for fear of letting people down. They both made the right choice putting their health first.
