Trump has no respect for the law, and his tweets suggest he might not peacefully leave office if voted out. The Cabinet must be clear that they won't allow military or civilian forces under their control to be used by Trump to suppress democracy.https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/28/politics/warren-letter-agencies-federal-forces-protesters-trump/index.html …

Yes. But we have to vote him out first.

There needs to be a free and fair election. Considering the election tampering the GOP pulled in 2000, 2004, 2016, and 2018 (that we know about, and I might have missed some), that's not guaranteed.

No they don’t. Nobody in their right night is actually worried about that.

Absolutely Sen. Warren. It is presumed Pres. Obama’s eulogy yesterday was the trigger for Trump’s predictable reaction. He cannot violate the most sacred principle of American democracy - the peaceful transition of power.

When Trump decides to stay, no one will stop him. Certainly not weak-ass @SpeakerPelosi, @SenSchumer, or @ewarren. At the most, maybe a“retired general” or a think tank “co-founder” will speak out, then slink back into the shadows. Fascism is here.

Make them listen, Sen. Warren. We need more useless congresspeople listening to the good ones with plans. The tired, hungry and poor need your help.

He doesn't have to leave office. The office leaves him powerless at noon on January 20th, 2020. After that, if he fails to leave when asked, he is a trespasser. Do you see the fence? Do you see the troops? Do you see the kidnappings of civilians off the streets? Most dictators are elected leaders who don't leave. That's how that works. Call Trump a trespasser, if you want. The point is, this is a very dangerous situation.
