I don’t kid myself: I know this will be a tough fight. The @NRA will do everything in its power to kill this #EndGunViolenceBill. But I didn’t come to Washington to work for the gun lobby – I’m here to work for the people. And it’s time – long past time – to fight back.

imagine if cars were as poorly regulated as guns, imagine if guns were as well regulated as cars, not hard to imagine!
I agree with you, we need to loosen regulations on guns. I need no permission to buy any car I'd like and keep it wherever I want. I only need a license to operate it in public. We should definitely need a license to discharge a firearm in public.
Break out suicides from what reasonable people would consider “violence” and come back at us with those stats, please. More likely to die in a car wreck than being killed by a law abiding gun owner, even one that owns “assault weapons” and “hi-cap mags.”pic.twitter.com/2ywL4zpqwE
