This always drives me crazy. I drive a super efficient car, live close to work in an old apartment, only drink home or work coffee, make my own lunches and dinners everyday, but wages are too low to allow for the amount of savings I need for the next major life milestone.

This is getting more traction than anticipated so let me clarify. I am a full-time, salaried, non-profit employee with a Masters Degree in my field. Rent has been going up here at 4-5X the general rate of inflation for the past 3 years. Love my job, I’d hate to leave.

So you'd rather blame Chase than take responsibility for your own actions? Sounds about right. Put on your big girl britches. Get a better job, a 2nd job, anything to bridge that gap. I did it years ago. Many do today. You're not too good to do it as well. Suck it up buttercup

Haven't seen someone unexpectedly pop out of nowhere and go for the kill like this since Game of Thrones last night.

I'll never understand why we didn't bail out homeowners. Had we made mortgage payments for people they could have stayed in their homes and the banks would have stayed solvent at the same time. Instead we bailed out the banks and allowed all those people to lose their homes.

Living beyond a persons means has become the way of life. Blame the companies & celebrities who pedal $500 jeans. Blame Apple for conditioning people to be sheep every 6 months for a new phone. Blame the $6 latte that costs 13¢ to make.Don’t blame the bank. They spoke the truth.

Don’t blame the bank that charges $35 for overdrafts, 25% interest on credit cards, less than 1% interest on savings accts, encourages customers to take out loans for vacations/cars/diamond rings etc, pays their top CEO $30M a yr & entry level worker $15 grand a yr. Seriously?
