A fundamental, defining feature of a democratic republic is the right of the people to elect their own leaders. The effort by Sens. Hawley, Cruz, and others to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in swing states like Pennsylvania directly undermines this right.

So... you lost me there. You endorsed and voted for a man who responds this way to losing, and has always responded this way to losing since his high school days? You saw him in action, said “yup, this is my guy,” and *now* you want to back away?

I don't get that from his tweet. It's clear he's saying his side lost and he's accepting the loss and moving on. Plain and simple. It's how we should all do.
