The US embassy in
#Baghdad is NOT sovereign US territory. The embassy enjoys inviolability under international law and Iraq, as the receiving state, is obligated to provide protection, but it is Iraqi sovereign territory. Too bad US withdrew from VCDR Optional Protocol last year. -
And Iraq is a sovereign nation. The US strikes could be considered as an act of war.
