Actually filling these jobs with visa holders ensures that they are not filled with illegals, visa holds apply every year, and get checked every year when they apply, and when they enter.

Don’t buy his sympathy. Senator Cotton is okay with more immigration, as long as it’s more H-1Bs for Walmart’s HQ in AK. He co-sponsored S386, removal of country cap quotas for employment green cards which would incentivize more cheap H-1Bs from India to come in hoards.
