At a time when consumers are already financially squeezed by the airline industry, it is troublesome to see a local airline basically give up on getting its customers home.

I want to hear from our federal transportation officials about what can be done to prevent it from happening again. I’m asking
@USDOT to work with airlines to ensure cancellation policies adequately protect consumers. https://www.facebook.com/USSenTinaSmith/posts/628261480853616 …pic.twitter.com/sPobm4lfVZ

Sun Country should pay all costs incurred, plus $$$ to passengers left stranded. Also fined, SC has been on a downhill slide.

That’s what happens when a hedge fund/equity group buys a business. There is no customer service, just taking of profits and then head off to bankruptcy

It seems absurd to me that they get away with this. Those people had round trip tickets. They are responsible to get them back home!

@SunCountryAir stranded my hubby, 5yo son and I in Denver Sunday after a 12 hour delay. Flight cancelled near midnight, which screwed us. No help, no alternatives, no options until well after it was too late. Unacceptable. I will never fly Sun Country againThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
