It’s plain to see that difficulty accessing safe, affordable child care can impact a family’s financial stability, and be a barrier for parents who need to work, go to school, or want to be involved in their community.

In the Senate, I’m a cosponsor of
@PattyMurray's Child Care for Working Families Act, which would dramatically expand child care & early childhood programs. I also cosponsored legislation that would increase access to on-campus child care for parents who are earning their degree.Show this thread -
But that’s only a start. I plan to keep listening and working to address Minnesota’s shortage of child care options. For the sake of healthy families and strong workforce, we need to work together to address this issue.

You need to talk to the license daycare providers on why it’s so hard on them and why many have left because of the crazy rules and hoops they have to jump through.
