I recently kicked off my childcare access & affordability listening sessions in MN & today these discussions continued in Detroit Lakes. My staff met w/ parents, community leaders, employers, providers to talk challenges families go through when searching for quality child care.pic.twitter.com/yuKW6jEUnY

Thanks to everyone who my staff met with in Detroit Lakes today at Manube Otwa Community Action Partnership, and thanks to The Holmes Center Child Care for letting them take a tour. And I’ll keep pressing for Senate legislation to make child care more accessible and affordable.

Why does it feel like your priorities represent much more privilege? Healthcare access since I'm disabled and bedridden would be nice. thx
