I do not see eye to eye with the President and Republicans in Congress on many issues. But where we are able to identify areas of common ground, and where the President is willing to work in good faith, I & many of my colleagues stand ready to work w/ him.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li-uenK8FLs&feature=youtu.be …

It was great to hear you deliver the address. We appreciate all you’ve done for us in the little time you’ve been in Washington. Thank you! Love Jasper

She seems naive about working with Trump. He called us traitors.
-
I don’t think that’s it. She’s new, and there’s so many vocal senators right now. If we had all 49 senators firing back every time
@realDonaldTrump tweeted, we really wouldn’t get anything done. -
The bipartisan meme she is pushing is not workable with Trump.
-
True, but we need to focus on people besides Trump. If we have senators still talking bipartisanship, those Republicans who aren’t caught us in the mess could become easier to work with. It’s like any other battle: not everyone is on the frontline. Some have other positions.
-
Trump has to sign the legislation and republicans are generally compliant with him so how does he not figure in every single bill?
